Welcome to “Wilder Days – Mansfield Missouri”
On the 3rd weekend in September, people who love the Little House Books and other memories of Laura Ingalls Wilder come to Mansfield, Missouri to celebrate together and to commemorate the woman who wrote of pioneer history. Her stories of real life in the 19th century have entranced readers and have inspired films for television and theater.
The Wilder Days Committee welcomes you and invites you to follow our activities as we prepare for the next annual Wilder Days Festival.
The weekend is as full as we can make it. Favorite activities include Look-A-Like contests for Little Laura and Little Farmer Boy, games and activities for kids and grown-ups, demonstrations of lost arts, FOOD, vendors for almost everything you can imagine, a huge parade, quilt shows, mechanical shows that feature vintage equipment, tools and cars, musical entertainment from local groups and more. Every year is a little bit different, even if that is only the weather. It is a mistake to say “Oh, we’ve seen that.” Make Wilder Days a tradition for your family…you’ll be glad you did.
Thank you for visiting Wilder Days 2010 in Mansfield Missouri. We were complimented to have visitors from all around the world. Visit us on Facebook — Wilder Days
