Wilder Days awaits 2010!

Wilder Days for 2009 saw more rain than we would have wished for, but we also have sympathy for other communities in the Ozarks where the rains did more natural damage and made the events more difficult.
The Wilder Committee has held their “recap” meeting and are now viewing plans for 2010.

Ozarks Mountain Players are Vital Part of Wilder Days.

The Ozarks Mountain Players’ presentation of the pageant honoring Laura Ingalls Wilder, Laura’s Memories, have begun the 2009 season as of this past weekend.

Wilder Days will Have More Events on Friday Nite

There are some awesome plans for Wilder Days on Friday, September 18.   Bedraces and other fun country competition are being organized.    The Mansfield School Children will have a concert in the early evening and a mini-parade for their little floats which can include their bikes is being organized.

Kickin Up Grass Prizes Announced

The Wilder Days Committee has announced the prizes for Kickin Up Grass in 2009. There will be a pre-paid entry fee of $50.

First Prize will be $750 cash and a recording session for the winner
Second Prize will be $500 cash
Third Prize will be $300 cash
