Please prepare to attend the “Social Event of the Season”. This event will be held on Friday, September 24 at 7:00 PM in the meeting facility of Engrave-A-Crete Inc. This will be an exquisite event catered by one of the premier catering services of Mansfield. It will be a private affair with invitation only guests being admitted.
You cannot buy tickets to this event, you cannot be given tickets, and no one will be allowed without tickets. If you are interested in attending this event, you must follow directions below.
This year’s Wilder Festival needs people to help put it together. These people will be needed for such duties as parade coordinators, marking the square, placing vendors, overseeing the bed races and other activities, working the Chamber booth, assisting with children’s games, organizing and running Little Laura and Farmer Boy contest, attending chamber fundraiser booths, and clean-up afterwards. A few hours by many hands make the work of all go quickly and is rewarding to all. Only by assisting with will you be granted tickets to the “Social Event of the Season”.
This is an event everyone can participate in and if that anyone is you, please attend the Wilder Day’s Planning meeting at 5:30 PM tomorrow (August 17) at the Weaver Inn, call the Chamber phone at 924-3525, or ask at the Chamber Information Center located in Back Door Video and Mother Owl’s Choice at 727 W. Clark Street.
Meanwhile back to the “Social Event of the Season”, will there be door prizes? Will we have entertainment? What will it be like? Prepare to help out, and then you won’t have to wonder.
