Wilder DaysHOME
There are exciting vacation and recreation opportunities all over Missouri.  When visitors come to Mansfield, one of the best things to visit is Rocky Ridge Farm, the site of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home, where there are tours of the farm house and the Rock House are led by experts who are dedicated to the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder.  Visitors can spend hours viewing the collection of memorabilia from Laura's family, featuring Pa's fiddle.

Mansfield has a charming public park with a walking trail.  You can get a stretch and workout at the Mansfield Community Center Weight/Training Center. Additionally, there is an historic town square with inviting picnic tables placed beneath dynamic shade trees. You can find more Ozarks' folkart at Mother Owl's Choice on Commercial Street (on your way to the Wilder Home)

Between Mansfield and Hartville, you can visit Baker Creek Seeds and the new country town of Bakersville.  Or the historic Battle of Hartville site in Hartville, MO.  If you continue on Hwy 5, you will come to Rosewood Farms and the best chocolate you ever dreamed of

But, sometimes, you know someone...someone like Grandpa and Grandma
